How to make a doppio??? Just like the Macchiato, it sounds actually exotic, but is
really simple to make.
The word doppio in italian means "double". If you need a strong coffee, you ask for an Espresso. If you need a supercharged coffee, then the Doppio is your coffee.
Procedures on how to make a doppio
To make a brilliant cup of Espresso Doppio, all that you have to do is follow these steps:
1. Get hold of some dark roasted espresso beans. Oily-looking is the choice bean here.
2. You would like to atomize these espresso beans until they are really fine ( study grinding for an espresso machine ).
3. Pack the grinds into the group ( handle ) of the espresso machine. Pack the group hard and full. The group filter basket should be a double.
4. Put a single cup under the group. It may work more than normal ( you probably did pack the grinds tight, but not too tight? ). You should see a hazel brown crema appear at the surface of the coffee when its finished.
So what"s the diversity between a doppio and an espresso?
An Espresso Doppio uses the 2 cup coffee basket in the espresso machines group, but it is going into one cup. That"s"s it! I let you know it was easy
