DrinksBlack soybean milk
Have you ever drunk black soybean milk? Haha~
Ò This morning, I poured the soybean milk into my glass as usual. The black liquid surprised me a lot. What is it? I wonder. Mum and dad have gone out. So I can ask myself only.
Ò It couldnò€™t be soybean milk, thatò€™s my first idea. As we all know, soybean milk is white and visibly this is black. Maybe the material is another bean Iò€m not familiar with. As the liquid is not pleasing to the eye, suddenly, a terrible idea occurred to me. Wouldnò€™t it be the dirty water which was used to wash the vessel and my mum was too busy to clean it, eh? Fortunately, it smells good, which makes me feel relieved.
Ò After having a taste, I find a similar mouth feel. I trust it is soybean milk. The only question is the color. Do you know why?
This is the answer:
black Soybean also known as Black Bean or Black Soya Bean will give you a white looking milk just like its cousin, the soya bean. It may not be common for you to find anyone selling this drink out there but youò€™d be surprise to know that the cooking method is the same. If you know how to make black soybean milk, you will also know how to make soybean milk
The hardest work involved is the milking process ò€“ when you have to squeeze out the milk / juice from the blended beans. Ensure that you get a good filter. I used a cotton coffee filter (the ones which Malaysians use to brew coffee in kopitiams).
